The shops at La Villita Historic Arts Village have

extended hours each First Friday until 9pm. Savor

the tastes of San Antonio, and enjoy live music at

this monthly event. Take a stroll through La Villita

and find unique artwork and gifts made by local

artists and craftsmen. Booths available for artists

who produce their own crafts.

La Villita is the city’s premiere art village for local

art and crafts, featuring fine art, jewelry, clothing,

pottery, bonsai and Mexican handicrafts, among

other unique items.  La Villita has a history as old

as San Antonio, from its beginnings during the

time of the Alamo, through the 19th century with

the growth of downtown San Antonio, to the

resurrection of the area by Mayor Maury Maverick,  who acted to preserve the area as a part of San Antonio’s colorful and diverse history.  Come out and enjoy an evening under the stars, with La Villita First Friday Art Walk!
